Customer Defined Data (CDD)

You can define Customer Defined Data (CDD) fields for data that isn't part of the standard claims system fields. This includes items like Rx numbers, credit card numbers, and bill types.

CDD items can be at the claim level or the line item level and can be used for informational purposes or for import or export functions. You can electronically transmit data that isn't stored within the claim record but is linked to claim.
